When residents move into Independent Living, they receive a Healthcare Benefit that helps contain some cost of future care, if and when it becomes necessary. Smith Village's Healthcare Benefit consists of 30 days of care per year, accumulating to 100 lifetime days of Assisted Living, Alzheimer's and Memory Support, or Skilled Nursing Care at no additional charge. After the 100 days are used, there is a 15 percent lifetime discount from the rates in effect for all levels of care. |
