Smith Village's Skilled Nursing Care is available in our handsomely refurbished Johanson Wing to current residents in Independent Living, Assisted Living, and Alzheimer's and Memory Support who require additional healthcare. Others needing temporary care while they are recuperating from surgery or an accident also can move into Smith Village's Skilled Nursing Care community, which is both Medicare-and Medicaid-certified. Rehabilitation Services Smith Village provides a professionally-staffed department with a comprehensive program of rehabilitation services, certified by both Medicare Part A and B. These services are available for all residents in all settings. These residents are afforded all the benefits and amenities available to other residents, such as physical, occupational and speech therapy. In addition to holding appropriate degrees and certificates, Smith Village's healthcare professionals have extensive experience working with seniors. Selected for their commitment to warm, friendly and personal care, they continually update their training through seminars and classes. EMR System Smith Village's state-of-the-art electronic medical record system (EMR) in Assisted Living, Alzheimer's and Memory Support, and Skilled Nursing Care settings provides instant, reliable access to medical records for residents' physicians and Smith Village's healthcare team. Having medical records stored electronically is very efficient so healthcare professionals spend more time with residents and less time on paperwork. |
